We motivate our members to prosper personally and collectively, to reach their full potential, in an atmosphere in which all are elevated in the process. We currently promote financial independence, and provide professional, personal, and physical support for our world-wide sisterhood through workshops, programs, challenges, via groups and one on one initiatives, all carried out on a volunteer basis by our sisters.
We are in the process of expanding our services in keeping with our three-pronged business model which is to provide: 1. A Secure Social Media Platform for Daily Connections; 2. Community Building and Support, Providing Resources to Meet all Needs, and 3. An Online Market Place for Members’ Businesses and Services, and SestraNow, LLC business Initiatives.
We believe that the time is NOW to transcend the divisiveness that we experience especially in today’s political and social climate, fueled by racism, sexism, homophobia, disability status, ageism, etc. The time is NOW to tap into our strengths, talents and abilities and form a network free of the obstacles perpetuated by the patriarchy. At the core we women are caring, passionate and nurturing. A woman’s nature is to build and thrive despite whatever comes her way. The time is NOW to promote a genuine sisterhood of prosperity, health, and love. Imagine a world where those values are paramount, rather than selfishness, greed, and power.

Founder
After seeing the ecstatic reaction of runner-up Miss Nigeria when it was announced that the 2019 Miss Universe was Miss Jamaica, I was inspired to create SestraNow. Her response has left an indelible mark on me. It takes a special type of person to celebrate the achievements of someone else especially when she is your competition. That is the type of individual that we seek to join our network. Women have sometimes been labeled as catty, distrustful, and weak. There are a lot of us that need support whether it be emotional, physical, financial, etc. There are also many who have been blessed with access to resources that others have not. But no matter the case, everyone has something that she can bring to the table. Together, we can accomplish exponentially more than we ever could individually. By pooling our gifts, talents, and special abilities, we will create a solid, powerful, and effective structure that is based on cooperation rather than competition, service rather selfishness, grace rather than greed and sisterhood rather than solitude. SestraNow is the vehicle we use to celebrate, promote, and support women all over the world, assisting them to accomplish their dreams.

Stephanie Montgomery is a Licensed Attorney and Real Estate Broker in the State of New York. She is the daughter of parents married 52 years and counting and she is the oldest sibling of their 3 children. She was born in South Carolina, USA and raised in Bronx, New York. Stephanie has embarked on various entrepreneurial feats, service initiatives and self-empowerment projects. Her wealth of knowledge and experience has uniquely equipped her to lead out in SestraNow which encompasses all three areas.

Her journey in these sectors has equipped her with invaluable insights into community resilience and safety strategies, shaping her into the empowering advocate she is today. Driven by a fervent desire to uplift and educate women on personal safety. Through her initiatives, she aims to empower women with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complexities of safety in today’s world.

Liliana Maria is the CEO, Founder and Job Coach at Going Deeper, LLC and Compassion Cosmetics. Her company supplies high-end and top-notch vegan cosmetics and beauty supplies to support trauma impacted Moms. She is also a volunteer ambassador at Prison Fellowship. Liliana implores women to find their strength in God because He uses broken women to help other broken women heal. She is a mother, daughter, a Chaplain, and woman on a mission to bring change, hope, love and healing. She is filled with empathy, compassion and above all determination.

Carmen Bernard is a wealth strategist, financial literacy Educator, and independent insurance broker. She holds financial seminars for organizations, churches, schools, workplaces and individual families. Carmen is the president and CEO of BIGFACS-(Bernard Insurance Groups Financial and Consulting Services) and she works tirelessly to narrow the wealth gap in her community. As a lifelong teacher, Carmen worked as a professional trainer in Corporate America for 15 years and as a Business Education Instructor in the public school sector for another 15 years. She holds a Master’s in Education from Walden University and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Rutgers University as well as numerous certifications in Human Resources and Life and Health insurance. She hails from the South American country of Guyana. She resides in Stone Mountain Ga. with her husband of 37 years. She has 3 children and 7 grandchildren. In her spare time, she gives back to her community by tutoring and volunteering on several worthy causes.

She is an ordained minister and international speaker with a passion for the brokenhearted who teaches God’s power of redemption and restoration. As a book Publisher, she has a mission to deliver books and resources to the marketplace that refresh the spirit, renew the mind, and restore the soul.
